Deposit Terms and Conditions

Full Parts Deposit Required

(Effective September 2026)

At Albany 4×4 Accessories, we require a full parts deposit to secure your order, allocate stock, and reserve workshop time.

1. Deposit Requirement

A full parts deposit is required before parts are ordered or allocated to customer bookings, and is used to:

  • Secure your order
  • Allocate stock
  • Confirm your booking

2. Non-Refundable Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable where:

  • Parts have been ordered specifically for your vehicle
  • You cancel or change your mind

This is due to supplier commitments and special-order items.

3. Workshop Bookings and Rescheduling

Once your fitting date is confirmed, workshop time is reserved specifically for your vehicle.

  • If you need to change your booking, please contact us as early as possible, preferably at least 48 hours beforehand.
  • We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and will always try to accommodate reasonable booking changes.
  • Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a reasonable rescheduling fee before another workshop booking is confirmed.

Any charges will reflect the circumstances and reasonable costs incurred. Our aim is always to work with you fairly.

4. Special Orders & Supplier Conditions

Many products are ordered specifically for your vehicle.

  • Special-order items cannot be returned
  • Supplier fees or restocking charges may apply
  • These costs may be deducted from your deposit where applicable

5. Customer-Supplied Parts

If you supply your own parts:

  • A deposit may still be required to secure workshop time
  • We are not responsible for compatibility or product issues

6. If We Cannot Supply

If we are unable to supply your order or complete the work:

  • Your deposit will be refunded in full, or
  • An alternative solution will be offered

7. Vehicle Collection & Storage

Vehicles must be collected promptly after completion.

  • Storage fees may apply for uncollected vehicles
  • We will contact you prior to any charges being applied

8. Consumer Rights

This policy does not override your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement where goods:

  • Are faulty
  • Do not match description
  • Fail to perform as expected

9. Agreement

By paying a deposit, you confirm you have read and accepted these terms.
