Australian Consumer Law (Important Notice)

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will assess the issue and provide a suitable remedy in line with Australian Consumer Law, which may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

Major vs Minor Issues

  • Major Failure: You are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.
  • Minor Issue: We may offer a repair within a reasonable timeframe.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

At our discretion, we may offer a store credit or exchange, provided:

  • The item is unused
  • It is in saleable condition
  • It is returned within a reasonable time

Used or Installed Products

Items that have been used or installed are not eligible for return due to change of mind.

However, this does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty.

Installation & Labour

All installation work carried out by Albany 4×4 Accessories is covered under consumer guarantees.

If there is an issue with installation, we will assess and rectify the problem in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Returns Process

To initiate a return, please contact our team with:

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
  • Details of the issue

Items may need to be returned to our store for inspection before a resolution is provided.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
  • Refunds for faulty products will be provided in full

Packaging

Original packaging is preferred to assist with returns, but it is not required for valid consumer claims.
